It has been confirmed, the 2023 Kenyan Equator Rally will take place. Sikh Union Club has taken over the running of Equator Rally and it is not postponed and will run on the dates allocated in Voi

The 2023 Equator Rally is back on schedule, according to the Kenyan Motorsport Federation. The ministry of sport has intervened to guarantee that the event organizers receive the support necessary to make it happen since they recognize the significance of the event.

The Sikh Union Club will now oversee the event. Never undervalue the actual character of Kenyans or their love and passion for Rally. The announcement that the event might need to be postponed since appropriate finance wasn’t available in time prompted the need for an immediate board meeting.

When it was announced in the Kenyan media that the event might not happen, there was a huge reaction and many worries expressed by both rally spectators and competitors. Fans of the rally and competitors may anticipate a fantastic event in Voi.

Voi is the largest town in Taita-Taveta County in southern Kenya, in the former Coast Province. It lies at the western edge of the Taru Desert, south and west of the Tsavo East National Park. The Sagala Hills are to the south.

The man at the helm of the event, Clerk of Course Gurvir Bhabra and his team have completed 80% of the event planning. The organizers will communicate with the FIA today for approval of the changes made. The Supplementary Regulations for the event are available along with other relevant event information.
