Driving a Mitsubishi EvoX, Chaynes comfortably led the day sweeping clean all the six stages of the day, with the fastest total time of one hour, 8 minutes 30 seconds.
He beats second-placed Mitsubishi Mirage Proto driver, Maxime Abondio by six minutes 48 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Experienced Subaru maestro Bottari Cyril came in third in one hour,20 minutes 57 seconds, 12minutes 27seconds off the leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Old guard Fane Bakary co-driven by his youthful daughter Fatimata in a Mitsubishi Evo9, managed a fourth place, as rookie driver Gueyes Malick closed in fifth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Crews will wake up to the repeat of the 10.9km Parlementarie stage that was driven as stage one on Saturday, before jointly driving five other stages in a total competitive distance of 98.78km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surviving crews will then head for the day’s only service before driving their cars to final control, parc Ferme, where podium finish celebrations will be held.
